Mochika Peru Bistro

My husband and I are big foodies and big critics and we loved this place. We've always been a fan of Peruvian food and this one has become our favorite, just since our first visit last night. The ambiance is very nice and modern.. although they have a small space, it looks great. The food is a tad on the pricey side, since all their meals/entrees start at $20, but it was pretty worth it! We ordered their Ceviche and Lomo Saltado and they were SUPERB! Their food was so fresh and their plating looked like artwork! Nice portion sizes too. The server was also extremely nice and courteous and made us feel important. We'll definitely be returning. :) (They also have a coupon available for purchase now on Restaurant.com)

My boyfriend and I decided to randomly choose a new restaurant for dinner. This cozy, yet fine dining restaurant is located in a shopping center, next to a hotel. Where to start? From the moment we walked in the door we were treated as if we were the only ones there. Fernando our server, was spectacular from beginning to end, even remembering our names! He instantly made us feel at home. He offered his personal favorites including items that were not yet on the menu. The drinks, the ceviche, the sauces, risotto and filet mignon were incredible! The experience had a perfect balance of sweet and salty and fantastic wine to cleanse your palette. For dessert, Fernando suggested we have a merengue dessert that was truly exquisite. Just when we thought a wonderful evening had come to an end, we were wrong. He then offered us a great selection of tea which once again, was the perfect balance to the terrific dessert we had just finished. We definitely recommend this to any foodies like us, whether you are going on a date,for a birthday or anniversary, or just a night out with the family it's worth the try! It's safe to say we will definitely be back sooner rather than later, with friends and family the next time! I am a bartender myself, so I notice the little things, that is why I have to praise them so much. The owner was overseeing the kitchen and floor throughout the evening and there was a great musician to keep the atmosphere content and flowing!
