Metal Powder Products is an international provider of custom powdered-metal product solutions to customers in a variety of industries. A leader in the powder metallurgy industry, MPP has developed a number of innovations in material formulation, including sintering, densification, joining techniques and value-added secondary operations. Its headquarters facility in Westfield, Ind., houses the company's technology center, which is dedicated to researching and developing proprietary products and processes, prototyping and engineering. The instrument lab employs an array of instruments, including stereo microphotography; carbon, oxygen and nitrogen analyzers; micro-hardness testing equipment; coordinate measuring machines; equipment to measure tensile and impact strength; and proprietary equipment to evaluate wear resistance on bearing materials. Metal Powder Products maintains manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania, California, Canada and Mexico.
