General Info: Birchwood School, located in West Nyack, N.Y., is a day school that offers academic and extracurricular programs to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school offers classes in art, music, physical education, language arts, speech, technology, science and social studies. Birchwood School supports various sports activities, including softball, track and field, football and baseball. In addition, the school provides physical, occupational, speech and language therapies. The school has a parent-teacher association that provides support through volunteer programs and contributes various materials and equipment to the school. Birchwood School is a part of the Clarkstown Central School District.
