Manager doesn't have skill set to do her job. The community looks nice also because most resident/owners take pride in their homes. Has little or nothing to do with management. DB

Overall

The park is well maintained and quiet. No security concerns. Manager runs a tight ship but that is what keeps the park in such great shape. Proud to call this place home.

As other reviewing post the property manager is downright insane. She verbally harassed my sick mother until I had to call the police to attempt to file a restaining order. She told my mom one of our relatives was never allowed to visit her in her home again. She's a true nutcase. I strongly advice you stay away from Vonda the wicked witch!!!

Overall

The salesperson/park manager is not to be trusted. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the homes are up to code. Do not assume that because she is selling it, that the home meets park standards. Know the laws regarding eviction from land-lease communities in Ohio. The salesperson will not tell you about the home's defects. There is no regulatory agency to defend consumers/tenants.

The manager starts out nice enough but will quickly turn nasty on you. The manager is rude and condescending most of the time and tyrannical. I have gotten notes about stuff like weeds in the flower beds and there were like 3 weeds. That's ridiculous. I don't use the pool and club house is only open till 5:00 pm. If, you are a working person you never have access to clubhouse. Over the winter I noticed that when we had snow, the roads were not treatEd. The roads Become ice from snow being packed down with cars driving over them. The guy who does maintenance around the park has a plow on his truck, but I watched him drive over the snow not plow it. Nor do The roads get salted.. I never brought this to the manager's attention because I didn't want to bring attention to myself , I don't feel comfortable with bringing any concerns to her.

I really have not had concerns except for the fact that the manager is rude and condescending most of the time and tyrannical. I feel like calling me to tell me I can't have a snow shovel on my driveway when we are getting snow daily is extreme.

Property manager is quick to issue or threaten to issue material violations for exterior issues ranging from power washing and deck painting to complaints about snow shovels left beside the porch in the winter, or garden hoses left out in spring/summer. Innumerable "violations" can randomly crop up at her whim, as everything from lawn mowing and tree trimming to exterior painting is the responsibility of the home owner, but to the property manager's satisfaction. There is limited access to the amenities such as pool table and exercise equipment as they are only available during business hours. The swimming pool heater was under-utilized, and the pool was closed whenever it looked like it might rain, rain was forecast, or it had recently rained. Even a brief shower would result in the pool being closed for the day. The streets were not plowed if it snowed on the weekend, and salt or de-icers were not applied. She is also the community sales agent, and she fails to disclose the issues she will soon demand to be fixed post-sale. I recommend anyone buying into the community demand full disclosure of all potential "material violations" before they buy, and plan how the issues will be addressed, when and by whom, before they sign the contract. Otherwise, I am happy the place looks nice and it is a quiet and nice community overall.
