Got a 97 Camry here and got a fairly decent deal on it. Or thought I was, at least.



Started having major issues within days. The most commonly used term is "lot rot." The car needed all new front brakes (discs, rotors). Nearly caused an accident because of how badly my car was shaking on the freeway. After some pushing, and I do mean pushing - showing up to the lot to complain, multiple phone calls etc. They took care of it.



Shortly there after, I discovered the vehicle was rapidly leaking power steering fluid. This they refused to take any responsibility for. Needed a brand new rack and pinion set up. Cost me $800 out of pocket, so tack that on the the cost of the car.



The check engine light also came on within a day or so, which suggests they reset the computer if there is something they don't want to repair at Corner Choice. It did not come on during my test drive. There was an existing O2 sensor issue with the car. Another mechanic verified that it had been that way for a while. Evap issue, vacuum switch valve - you need this to pass emissions. Corner Choice tried to call it a 'gas cap' problem. Not the case. Mechanic quoted $1100 to fix it.



In summation, this place is in West Allis, if that wasn't telling enough. Think twice before going here... I can't say these two can be trusted, nor can their stock. They pick their cars up from the larger surrounding dealerships. Just go to Wilde Toyota and save some time. There is an old adage that any car repair guy will tell you - "stay away from corner dealerships." Corner Choice epitomizes this.
