I dealt with this company as a renter paying $1,000+ month for rent on a house. When we moved in there was an issue with the blinds in the bedroom. They malfunctioned and offered no privacy, anyone could see into the room at night.



Called Rutledge to correct the problem and they refused to fix it. Not only that but the owner really came off with a "you're just a dumb, measly renter, you know nothing" attitude. When you pay four figures in rent every month, it's not too much to ask that the bedroom blinds work.



Dealing with Rutledge is like dealing with a slum lord, which is fine if you're paying slum lord prices. I expect better when renting for $1,000+ a month. I hope you do too.
