        AAUW Nursery School is a cooperative preschool where young children are respected, nurtured and encouraged. The school serves students from northern Lake County, Illinois, including Waukegan, Gurnee, Wadsworth, Beach Park and Zion, as well as southern Wisconsin. We offer a variety of half-day programs for three, four and five-year olds. Our curriculum and philosophy emphasize the importance of play.

        GREAT PRESCHOOL!

        We LOVE AAUW! The teachers and staff are kind and warm. They provide all different types learning and activities to keep children interested and having fun. My children love the huge outdoor play space and all of the different nature inspired activities, like the new butterfly garden. Plus they are a NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited program, which I can believe in and trust.

        From the teachers to the grounds to the curriculum, this preschool is by far the best around. You would not be disappointed when you enroll your child!

        what a hidden gem

        The summer camp was very special!!!! My girls enjoyed the HUGE grassy outdoor play area. If nature is important to a child's exploration, then this is the best place to be. Ms. Sheila is the nicest to talk to on the phone.
