Ultimate Athletics

My daughter just had her 5 th birthday party and she loved it, as well as her friends. Coach Nathan is super, he not only managed to control and enterntain 16 kids, but even remembred their names in an hour. I was very happy and pleased the waqy he handled the party.

This is our first year at UA coming from a rec cheer program. We have been wowed by the coaches, coreography, and the competitions. I am amazed how well known this gym is around the country. If you want to take your cheerleader to the next level, this is definately a place to look at. Not every gym is perfect, but you have to look at the whole experience and see that this gym will help your child grow tremendously in their abilities.

To the reviewer advising to look elsewhere for gymnastics...Ultimate Gymnastics in Gurnee is a different company than Ultimate Athletics in Wauconda. Ultimate Athletics is an excellent allstar cheer gym in the same area, the only Illinois gym to bring home a Worlds trophy. It is not a gymnastics gym.

Not a place to learn gymnastics. Better for cheerleading only

The organization is the biggest all star cheer program in IL. They have brought home an NCA title this year, 3rd on Worlds last year, and place all within the top 15 in worlds this year, best placements in IL. Their staff is talented and recognized around the country. They help athletes progress and give the the drive to be on top. The facility is roomy, clean and welcoming, even has a healthy deli. The kids love it and make life long friends. The parents maybe a little over the top, but get a back bone and deal, face it every patent wants the best for their little "suzi"! Plus, its not about the parents its about the athletes! Overall, UA is an excellent athletic program.

Ultimate Athletics is the best cheer gym you will find in IL, not only do they have the best coaches but they have cross-fit training, and tumbling. Every cheerleader is taken care of well. I have no bad comments on the gym other than the fact that the parents are alittle clicky. But what cheer gym doesnt have that? In the end all of the parents cheer on all of the girls at the competitions. UA is just a huge family and it teaches kids the importance of teamwork, and working hard for your goals.

I would discourage anyone from using the services of Ultimate Athletics.

Program is fundamentally ok. Coaches good. Overall organization is disorganized and complete lack of communication with parents. Much pricer than most cheer groups! Biggest disappointment is the "cheer mom" groups. Very clicky and unwelcoming, and nickel and dime you every time they see you!
