I made such a mistake by NOT reading the previous customer's reviews.
Do NOT use this business! I hired them to complete a military memento jacket - one containing patches that reflected over twenty years service. Simply put - they completely botched the job.
I showed the employee what I wanted, and explained its significance.She pulled out a bunch of pins and warned me "wherever you put em that's where they're going." No empathy, no care for craftsmanship.
Trying to set thick patches with pins will, of course, compromise the placement. I showed them a photo of where precisely I wanted them sewed. Didn't matter to them. C'mon ... is using thick pins the ONLY way to arrange patches? Really???
While their service was fast, their ineptness more than outweighed their promptness. The jacket now looks like crap. When I picked it up there were still threads hanging off the patches. The arrangement of them is SO profoundly skewed that only a severely drunk person might consider them straight!
When I called to express my opinion, and give them the opportunity to amend the situation, she fell back to her defect setting of "It's your fault - not ours."
My jacket is now ruined. I am offended by not only the money and time they've wasted, but by their lack of expertise, empathy, and professionalism.
Whatever you do STAY AWAY!

Go anywhere else, but don't go here. This lady is irate, mean, hateful, yells at her customers, and will never own up to any mistake she makes. She denies fault, and turns the blame back on the customer and refuses to be reasonable when it comes to errors and problems with her work or her merchandise. If you confront her about a problem, she will scream at you and tell you to leave. She nudged my 66 yr old mother backwards toward the door, while yelling at her to get out! Customers are the ones who pay her salary. Without us, there is no salary. She needs to take a lesson in business and in manners.

beware of using Kim's Kloset in Keller/Watauga. I used them to sew on my daughter's patches on her Letterman and first, it took months before I got it back. Second, the sew job was horrible and third the name was spelled incorrectly (the I and A were switched). We missed the mistake, they missed the mistake initially but when she finally wore it (got it back mid summer) the error was found. They don't want to own up to their negligence. I did by saying let's split the cost 50/50. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would go ahead and have the company that the school uses to do everything! Scale 1-10.... I give them a 2.5!! She was rude, told me to get out her store, she walked away while I was trying to explain to her my concerns and treated me like a non factor (and I remained calm overall).... I say, find someone else to do your work! Well unless you want a novice product (I can only speak on jackets, patches and the sewing job).

Don't get your letterman done there. All of my friends and I have gotten ours done there and we are all unsatisfied. Although the patches themselves looked great, the sewing was horrible. The patches are sewed on crooked and uncentered and they are sewn through the whole jacket (if you know how a letterman works, you are not supposed to sew through the black lining with the zipper) because the whole point of that layer is so the sewing doesn't show through.... Very unhappy with the end result after months time and a lot of money I put into it. And their excuse was "our sewing machines do that and we have no control over it" I have worn my jacket three times and have has many people point out the sloppiness of the sewing.
