Unfortunately, even with a rigorous diet and exercise plan, fat sometimes doesnâ€™t go away, and excess skin cannot magically disappear. Among the most common and concerning areas affected is the abdomen, which can be the most troubling area for achieving weight loss and contouring or toning of the body.

Is Nipple Reduction Surgery Painful? There is some discomfort with all surgeries.Â However, our surgeons employ advanced techniques, refined instruments, tiny incisions and expert skill to ensure minimal discomfort.Â You will also be given general anesthesia to keep you totally comfortable through your entire procedure. Where Will My Surgery be Performed? Dr. Davison and Dr. Pinell perform surgeries in a state-of-the-art surgical center that is certified and fully equipped with the most advanced technologies available today...the same as an emergency room. How Will I Feel After Surgery? Some bruising, achiness and soreness or stiffness is common after a surgery.Â This all resolves on its own over a few days but is easily managed with oral pain medication if needed. Can I Drive Myself to the Surgery Center? No.Â You must have a responsible adult drive you to and from surgery and stay with you at least overnight.Â Having help for a few days is also a very good idea. When Can I Return to Work and Other Activities? You should be able to resume normal activities within a few days.Â However, your surgeon will advise you on this during your in-office follow up visit. Will Insurance Pay For My Nipple Reduction Surgery? No. Cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance unless it is deemed medically necessary.Â Check with your insurance provider on this. Yes, but pregnancy and childbirth will reverse the original results of the abdominoplasty. For this reason, it is recommended that women wait until they are finished having children before undergoing a tummy tuck to achieve the best results and prevent future revisional surgeries.

Dr. Pinell has a longstanding record of academic achievement and graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Economics. Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is a medical condition in which boys and men begin to develop excess breast tissue. Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion â€“ smoothes out surface irregularities by removing the top layers of the skin. This works well for deep lines or scars.
Facial Implants
Dr. Steven Davison will tailor your treatment to your specific needs. Dermal fillers (SculptraÂ® and RADIESSEÂ®) and facial implants are used to restore lost volume to the hollow areas of the face. Injectables are administered in pre-measured doses, directly under the skin, in targeted areas and will plump up that area. They can last for several months while Sculptra can last for up to 2 years. Implants involve a surgical procedure using well hidden incisions through which the implant is inserted and positioned for optimal results. Implants provide long-lasting results. Fat grafting or tissue grafting are more advanced techniques for reconstruction.
Bariatric Surgery
Many patients who have a significant amount of weight to lose opt for a bariatric surgery procedure such as gastric sleeve surgery or lap band surgery. These methods involve surgically reducing the size of the stomach. After undergoing bariatric surgery, patients can practice portion control and achieve massive weight loss in a short period. Often, a post-bariatric surgery patientâ€™s skin does not have enough elasticity to snap back into place after the fat tissue that stretched it out is lost; therefore, they are left with sagging skin throughout the body, especially in the upper arms.
Forehead Lift
