Please call Wesson and Wesson, LLC, today at ( 205 ) 590-1128 or send us an email to schedule your free consultation.Wesson and Wesson, LLC, is located on Main Street in Warrior, Alabama, a historic Southern mining town. We established the firm to emulate ( as much as possible in a modern world ) an office styled after the fictional law of office of "Atticus Finch" described in the classic novel, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. We focus intently on the legal needs of the individual and have purposely rejected the recent trend of some larger firms toward a high volume client base. We offer conscientious personal attention to each of our clients on a cost-effective basis. We concentrate our practice in the following areas of law:
Mr. Wesson has a general trial practice, both civil and criminal, in state and federal courts, including personal injury, wrongful death, contract disputes, professional liability, real property disputes, family law, criminal law, business formation, probate, and consumer bankruptcy. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1989 in Political Science. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 1996 and opened his practice that same year in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1999, he moved his office to Warrior, Alabama. His wife, Jackie, joined his practice in 2004 and they formed Wesson & Wesson, LLC. In spring and summer, Mr. Wesson enjoys canoeing and fishing the Locust Fork of the Warrior River and Lewis Smith Lake.
Mrs. Wesson has a general trial practice, both civil and criminal, in state and federal courts, including personal injury, wrongful death, contract disputes, professional liability, real property disputes, family law, criminal law, business formation, and probate. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1990 in English and Philosophy. She graduated Cum Laude with her nursing degree from Samford University in 1993 and received her Juris Doctor degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 2004, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude as class salutatorian. Mrs. Wesson is also a Professor at the Birmingham School of Law and teaches evening classes in Legal Research and Writing and Pleadings and Practice. In the summer months, she enjoys growing heirloom vegetables in her backyard garden, along with cultivating her honeybee apiary.
