Untrustworthy, unlicensed 'contractor'!! Danny was our 'trusted handyman' for some small jobs around the house. Sadly, when we gave him $2500 to start a roofing job, the scam began. "Oh, there are repairs that need to be done that weren't there at the time I wrote the estimate. That will be an additional $700." He got the additional money, didn't do the repairs, and refused to complete the job.



He shingled about 1/3 of my roof in the wrong color shingles (WHITE shingles, were supposed to be black). We ended up having to take him to court on August 22, 2011. The judge ruled in our favor, and Danny has been ordered to pay us back the full amount he stole from us, in addition to court costs.



Also, this man is NOT licensed. Business owners who live AND do business in Wendell MUST be licensed by the town. He might tell you he's licensed, but he's not. Make the proper phone calls. Don't get scammed like we did.



And in response to his comment below: Danny, we took you to court and won. You appealed the decision, we went to arbitration, and we won again. Anyone reading this, if you'd like the file number for these court actions, they are public record. Look them up at the Wake County courthouse!
