Nikodem Dental

I was skillfully treated by Kim, dental hygienist, and Lucas Meyer, DMD. Easy to get new patient appointment, i was seen on time, very clean modern facility. The experience was great and thats bc i was made to feel comfortable and since i have waited 10 years since last appt. that was far from what i expected so pleased with this team I am writing this review in parking lot

99 dollars ha,went there was told 160 ended up 260 because they took a x ray and chaged 100 after i was told no charge for x ray ..terrible to be done like that said they had to x ray cause i had bottom teeth seems sensless i only had aupper plate made which had no teeth .. there scam artist and after money....i had a plate made before no x ray and better fit. Dont go there ....unless you like paying extra money ....

I went in simply for a yearly checkup. dentist (Dr. Lucas Meyer) insisted I needed 2 fillings replaced.

Had nothing but problems and have been in miserable pain for a month since allowing him to do this.

I went in and they just pushed antibiotic after antibiotic and said give it time for the pain to go away.

I went for another opinion at a different office, an independent office. The dentist said the 2 fillings do not connect (which is a big no-no) and the dentist (Lucas Meyer) left a cavity next to the filling he was replacing. also, charged me for 2 fillings to be replaced and only replaced half of the second one according to the x ray from the dentist I went to for the second opinion.

The filling that he (Lucas Meyer) did replace, is touching the nerve in my tooth; which explains the excruciating pain I've been dealing with. Also sent me on my honeymoon in Mexico with this pain.

I would NOT EVER GO. Find an INDEPENDENT practice. These chain dentists are out to steal your money. Now I will have to go through a root canal procedure to fix the filling he did incorrectly.

I had a wisdom tooth removed 1-22-15 and I wouldn't have asked for a better place to go for my dental work. they were all very kind and very professional. I had a minor reaction to the sedative they gave me, and they were rite on top of the problem. thank you all at the Warrenton office.

Treated Like A Piece Of Meat

I went in last week to have my teeth removed and felt like a cattle going through the line; the lady at the front desk couldnt figure out my insurance at first and when the girls in back made a mistake she was rude to her. When they finally did get it right they told me how much I would have to pay and gave me a prescription for Amoxicillien even though I am allergic to it! When I went back that afternoon it took the dentist 3 hours to pull out 4 teeth and he kept getting up and leaving in the middle of pulling my teeth. I did not feel like he really cared about me at all.

Had to go back 4 times for pain from wisdom teeth extraction. Treated me like I was making up pain to get drugs. But lo and behold...4th visit they finally pulled out a fragment. Told me part of my jaw bone? Really? Office didn't see that on prior 3 visits that included X-rays? If part of my jaw bone, why did it come out like not attached to anything? Care nothing of the pain THEY caused, said to take ibuprofen, gee thanks!

I don't understand why all the bad ratings unless these people maybe do not have teeth and maybe this was their first visit to a dentist. I only use dentist that are approved by all of the major insurance companies as they have to pass many inspections to even be qualified to be apart of a network in which all of the Nikodem offices are. I have been going to Nikodem for years and recently used the new Warrenton location on the way home from a business meeting. I did not have an apt and was able to walk right in, get my teeth clean and back on the road to St. Louis. Not only was the staff wonderful but the new facility was beautiful with up to date equipment. I would recommend all of their facilities.....oh wait I do since I have told more than 2000 people to visit their offices over the past 2 years.... helps to be in sales and in front of a well educated public everyday explaining why dental health is so important. If you want to listen to a real review listen to someone who has the qualifications to give one.

They will injure you, and then make it seem like it's your fault--as if there's something wrong with you. I don't know if Dr. Nikodem sold his business, as he is no longer seeing patients. But whatever the case may be, some of the current staff is driving his business straight into the ground--with his name on it.

Bad service!!! Poor quality work. Bad doctor. Went to get my denture there and I have never had so much trouble with them and then treated rudely. Took my business elsewhere. Wouldn't let my enemies go there
