The Judson Center is a nonprofit, community-based human service agency licensed by the state of Michigan and certified by the Council on Accreditation. The agency serves children with developmental disabilities and their families in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw, Livingston, Shiawasee, Genesee and Ingham counties in Michigan. Its staff provides more than 360,000 supported care services for children and adults each year. The Judson Center offers adoption, independent living, and foster, respite and residential care services. It provides educational, therapeutic and support services to assist individuals suffering from autism. The agency also offers outpatient mental health, counseling and supported employment services. It operates the Living in a Family Environment program, which is a specialized foster care program that trains families to serve as foster parents to children. The Judson Center maintains a location in Warren, Mich.
