Today’s windows are much more energy efficient, easy to use and they look fantastic too. According to the Department of Energy, doors and windows could be wasting up to 25% of your heating and cooling bills. In fact, more than 70% of windows installed as little as ten years ago do not meet the new building codes.
Siding
A good siding job can do a whole lot more than improve curb appeal. Our team will transform your home into an energy efficient low maintenance masterpiece without breaking the bank. You won’t have to cut corners in order to fit your budget. With 40 years in the business, we have developed methods to create architectural elements you won’t find elsewhere.
Residential Roof Replacement/Installation
We partnered with Rogers Insulation for a large roof replacement project for 160 condominium units. The project also included correcting 60-year-old ventilation issues in the attic spaces. The project required pre-inspection for combustion testing, installation of new insulation, domes over the attic openings and close-out combustion testing for 160 units. The conditions were less than favorable, the attic spaces were over 100 degrees at times, and access was thru a small hatch.
We have seen a lot of changes in the industry over the past 40 years. Building codes for minimum insulation values have changed many times over the years as the costs of electricity, oil, natural gas and propane have increased.
Caulking
Air Sealing: Reducing the amount of air that leaks in and out of your home is a cost-effective way to cut heating and cooling costs, improve durability, increase comfort, and create a healthier indoor environment. Caulking, weatherstripping and spray foam are simple and effective air-sealing techniques that offer quick returns on investment, often one year or less.
