These folks really care about you and your pets! In my 25 years in Charles County dealing with pets and vets, St Charles Animal Hospital rises to the top in the professionalism, care and treatment. They truly go above and beyond!

My dog Scappy has been very anxious at the vet and Dr Davis has been really kind and gentle with him she is amazing. The front desk staff and the vet techs are also amazing.they only thing I regret is not switching the care of my dogs to them sooner.

Took my fur baby in for monthly allergy shots over the weekend. I was talking to the tech about how I didn't think the shots were working. She got Dr. Davis to come in and check him out and it turns out he has an infection. Dr. Davis was so kind and the techs were so good with my dog. As we were sitting in the exam room other techs came in to see my baby and they all loved on him so much. It always makes me so happy that they treat him they way they do. Especially since he is a pittie and so many people don't care for that breed. The atmosphere at St. Charles Animal Hospital is the best. Love that place and can not say enough good things about the Drs and the techs!!!!

Dr. Neuman is an excellent vet with over 40 years of experience. His staff is super friendly, patient & caring. I feel confidant that my pet is receiving the BEST care possible as they keep up with the new & ever changing field of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Davis and the vet tech have been great. She was very patient and kind. She listened to my concerns. In the past at other locations I have felt like my pet was just a number or that the vet only cared about the payment and not the health of my dog. I like that she makes me feel that she really cares for my dog and his health, as well as my feelings. I am a military wife and we move a lot so I have had my share of vets with less than great bedside manner. My dog has been my best friend and got me through many moves and deployments. It has been difficult having my dog/best friend being diagnosed with a very loud heart murmur/condition and she has made it a little easier with her kind sincere care for my fur baby. 💕

I love, love, love St. Charles Animal Hospital. I have been taking my pets there for 8 years now and have not had a bad experience. They treat my fur babies as a priority and with great care and concern when they are under the weather. The staff is very friendly, thorough and smart. I recommend this vet to anyone.

Recently adopted a dog and was looking for a vetenary clinic for him. The staff were all really lovely and knowledgeable (I’m a first time dog owner) and recommended treatments and products without being pushy. They really took the time to explain everything in detail and were happy to answer any questions or concerns. This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a vet and probably a lot better than any doctors office I’ve been to myself. They really seem to care and love the animals and just want the best for them. All vet clinics should be this way!

From the moment you drive into landscaped facility and parking lot.... then enter the clean building... to be greeted by the friendly staff.... you and your pet will NOT be disappointed! Dr. Britain's years of veterinary experience SHOWS! He explains EVERY detail of your pet's exam and will draw illustrations for people like myself who are VISUAL learners. This place and people are FIRST CLASS TOP RATED veterinarians!

I have been with these vets since 2003 and trusted them with my cats .. They have always received great care.

LOVE THEM! They do a great job with both my two dogs and our iguana. Not many local vets would handle her but they did a great job. When she passed, I was not going to take my dogs to anyone but St. Charles because I know how great they will be treated!

New to area and needed care for my pet who was sick and in pain. The hospital is very clean and the staff is nice and considerate of your pet's needs. I will continue to seek their services in the future & recommend this animal hospital.

So I was referred by a co-worker upon moving to the area from out of town. I had already had my cat Sophie for 11 years and had recently taken in a stray. The first time I took the stray in, and this should have been my first sign to run, he was purring in fear as a poor innocent and scared 2 month old kitten. They insisted that they could not hear his heart beat well enough so they put him under running water to get him to stop purring! They were trying to scare him so he would stop "being so happy" and would stop purring! Poor guy was absolutely terrified to go after that. Well I was not going to get him declawed but then found out I was pregnant. He was tearing up everything and running a muck (this was a year later) and I tried training but he was constantly hurting myself, my husband or my other cat. At this point, I spoke with the hospital about doing this. Think what you will but I have had 10 cats all declawed from childhood to present who were just fine with no issues whatsoever. (the 11 year old is declawed and she has killed rabbits, raccoons, birds and more) Well upon speaking with them, they voiced their distaste for declawing and how they do not believe in it but if I insisted they would do it. I take my cat in already feeling bad enough, and they completely botch it! They caused so much nerve damage in my cat that over a year later he is still in pain. When I first picked him up I could see that these monsters completely messed up this simple procedure (with lasers nonetheless!) and had left my innocent baby destroyed for life. I know I took him in, but they are the ones who destroyed the pads on his paws and caused the damage to him. What they did was not a known risk, it was pure recklessness by the doctor who did it. It almost felt like they were trying to stick it in my face that I shouldn't have chosen to do this to my cat. I am the one who has to live with my poor choice but will never forget that they are the ones who screwed up a simple simple procedure.

I love St. Charles animal hospital!I brought in my older shiba inu and new puppy on separate occasions and each time was a very great experience. Very helpful, knowledgeable employees who readily answer any questions with a smile! Will definitely continue to patron here.
