Tropical Picken Chicken

I have been toTropical Picken Chicken Several times each time a wonderful happy experience. We went last Wed had the jibarito it was awesome ..the service great. We dicided to drive down again from Fuguay...to have a other jibarito . I rather wait for my food make sure it's well prepared and hot. I have a transplant and cold food for me can put me in the hospital if itst meant to be hot..bacteria is not my friend. We went in yesterday tuesday ..drove all the way doen for a jibarito. I ask for more plantins in it since it is a jibarito. The sandwich came out in less then three min. I tried it before the waitress leftsince I was ssuspicious that it cane out too fast my first bite the bread waswarm the meat that was suppose to be hot not cold not warm..was cold as ice the empanadas I ordered were ok they sat in a bed of lettuce that smelled horrible old and wilted I took a pic of the lettuce. The waitress was nice..the sandwich was warmed.It just didnt taste the same as before..I told the wsitress they must have two cooks because the food last wed was hot very tastful and yesterday the pernil was bland and the cook brought the food out just put the plate on the table and didnt comment or anything. I ddidn't even get extra platanos inside my jibarito hello why csll it a jibarito if it does not have the platanos maduros. I feel you need someone to be there always supervising and keepi ng the same quality of food same ingredients. I'am sure if the owner was there or his girlfriend this would not have happen..maybe the meat still bland ..but not cold. The empanadas were ok this time tasted a bit old. Get a real pr cook and only cook certain dishes each day to insure good quality of food and fresh.I have always praise this place but not this time.

Please avoid this restaurant. The food wasn't good on my first visit and then the service was really poor the next time around.



You will feel very insulted at the misleading way they advertise the menu and prices. It is basically a bait and switch.



Don't spend your money on a hit or miss business. Go somewhere that will appreciate your patronage and money.

While the decor is limited you will forget all about it when you moist, flavorful chicken or perfect Cuban sandwich arrive.
