BEWARE! This guy is a real scammer.!



I hired him to do a small project; replace some fascia boarding and put up a 26' lattice fence. He finished the fascia board first, and I have since found out he overcharged me by $1,000. The lattice fence turned out to be a nightmare. I wanted the back of the lattice to be solid, so he purchased (at my expense of course) over $200 of wood that is to be used for INDOOR only. I was told by the new PROFESSIONAL I hired, it would have buckled and shredded after the first rain. He put a coat of stain on it, so now, I can not return it to Home Depot. He also told me, to save money, it was not necessary to stain the the termite treated fence posts. I found out the posts would have turned green after a few months because the color of the treatment is NOT a stain. What should have been a 2 day job, dragged out for 5 weeks, with excuse after excuse as to why it was not finished, i.e., hurt hand, coming down with the flu, object hitting his eye, had to go fix an emergency leak, and pinched nerve in his back. He would call me and tell me, he would be there in the morning and then not show up until 3pm. I finally fired him and am so delighted to say, the person now finishing my project is an absolute professional and has quoted me a fraction of what the scammer would have charged. This so called handyman is a blatant liar and thief!!! PLEASE, do yourself and the rest of us single senior women a favor by not doing business with this predator.
