Villa Rica Animal Hospital

Started here with Dr. Leathers and Dr. Daniell in 2004...several dogs, surgeries, and crossings of the Rainbow Bridge later, I'm still coming.
I knew it was the perfect place for my fur family.
Though the staffing has changed, the legacy of compassion, knowledge, and skill is still here.
We especially appreciate Dr. Molly, she's takes excellent care of my three, my Mom's two, and any Foster I care for.

I have been taking my dogs here since 2010. They treat you and your pets like family. I highly recommend Villa Rica Animal Hospital.

"Villa Rica Animal Hospital", It's definitely the cleanest Vet, I've ever been into. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Villa Rica Animal Hospital. Dr Molly, she have done surgeries on my two dogs( My Babies ). She and the staff, explain everything very well and took excellent care of my two babies and kept me inform very good. Also call me several times at home to check and see how they're doing after surgery. You cannot go wrong taking your four-legged family members there for veterinary care. I was surprised that the price was also very reasonable. Oh by-the-way !!!! Both Babies, one with leg surgery, and the other with eye surgery, both are doing great...

My dog had to be put down, which was a very difficult decision. They were sympathetic and supportive throughout the process.

Dr Daniell is very good at explaining things to me. He lets me know what is going on during appointments and takes extra time to answer my questions. When my dog needed medicine he explained it all with me. I know my pets are receiving excellent care and I can count on the staff if I have any problems.

Ever since I've moved to the area I've brought my pets to Villa Rica. Over the years they have done a couple surgeries and I trust them completely. They always take good care of my babies!

everytime i have been in there they have been very caring and they listened to all my questions and concerns. my lil mini pin was very sick and i had to leave work early because i thought she was dying and i got up there an hour early and i was sitting in the parking lot waiting on the doctors to get back from lunch and dr.daniels got back an hour early and he come walking by my car and ask what was wrong and i told him what i thought it was wrong and he told me to come on in so they could start running test and figure out what was wrong and they were very informative. when they found out something they came in and told us and explained it to us.dr daniels came in at least four times or more to talk to us about what was going on and explain it. i would and have recommended it to my family and friends and people i just meet in public when something gets brought up about a vet. this one i RECOMMEND. the facility is very clean and staff is amazing. My husband and I own an english bulldog and have used Villa Rica Animal Hospital since we got her. She has always had good visits with Dr Daniels and Dr Leathers. Dr Daniels and his staff Chris, Stacy and Stephanie went above and beyond the call of duty showing their passion for their jobs to save our pet. I would recommend this group to anyone who loves their pet as much as we do. We would like to thank them for saving our Bella's life. I have been using this clinic with all 4 of my animals for the past 5 years. I have always found the staff to be kind and friendly. I have seen both doctors and trust them with my animals. Dr. Leathers saved my dog Ginger from a pyometra infection last year. He stayed after hours to perform the surgery that she needed. All of my dogs enjoy staying at Villa Rica Animal Hospital.

We have been clients for four years and were always well treated by the front desk staff, the techs and the vets. Over time, it seems like we have seen less and less of Dr. Daniels (who we prefer) and more of his full time and part time vet associates. We believe our pets have always received good care. They also give a "family discount" for three or more pets and have waived charges and fees as a courtesy on several occasions. We have decided to switch vets after the loss of our 18 mo old puppy. The puppy was under the care of the full time associate. The dog became ill and was diagnosed to have hepatitis. After two weeks of intense treatment, with no improvement, we were finally referred to Georgia Vet Specialists in Atlanta. After one day and several tests, they informed us that her condition was a congenital defect and that her life expectancy was very short. We elected euthanasia to save her further pain and suffering. We find no fault with the care she received at VR animal hospital, but were extremely disappointed that we were not contacted after the fact. GVS told us they had notified VR of the death and we expected to at least receive a condolence phone call. If the notification was not made, then we should have received a call concerning follow up care. It just seemed like once we were referred to GVS, the matter was no longer their concern. I have just called VR to ask them to forward the records for the cats to our new vet and offered to speak with Dr. Daniels concerning our decision to leave. There was no interest in that nor any interest expressed in knowing why we were leaving.
