THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

My husband and I took the class to become scuba certified, he was ecstatic & although I was also excited, I was MORE than a little timid, because I have never been a strong swimmer. Not only did the class instructor make ALL the various information easy to understand, but he went out of his way to help those of us who needed more help than others. Once we got into the pool, the instructors took their time with everyone, and if someone had a difficult time completing a task, they took them aside to work with them one on one, until the got it! Super patient, Very knowledgeable, & Helpful staff!!! They go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and confidant in what you are doing! And all the gear was TOP OF THE LINE. Can't wait till I get Open Water Certified with them later this month!!!

Want More Adventure In Your Life? Underseas Transforms You Into A ScubaDiva/ScubaDude

7yrs ago I got my Basic certification with Underseas not realizing how much I'd love scuba diving!Their instructors take their time to make sure to fully educate students & ensure they're comfortable with all of the material covered in the classroom & the techniques learned in the pool.This past Christmas I gave the gift that keeps on giving & paid to get someone certified at Underseas.We even bought brand new quality snorkel equipment, rented scuba gear, & joined the owner, Bruce, on one of their Cozumel dive trips.It was one of the best vacations ever!The dive trip included a stay at an absolutely beautiful hotel with a private beach & a private boat dock with a dive shop right there. It was the most relaxing vacation, knowing that all we had to do was walk a few feet to board a boat for our dives instead of riding in a tour bus that stops at several hotels. The trip was well put together & the group we dove with were super friendly.Thanks for the awesome diving experience!

Underseas Scuba, Villa Park IL - Be Careful with this Dive Shop

On 9/30/2011 we dropped off our SCUBA equipment to have the annual maintenance performed. This maintenance includes: Various service kits for the first and second stage of the regulator, service kit for the air source 3; which is used for inflation while diving and emergency air, also included in the annual maintenance is labor and adjustments to ensure all equipment is working properly. The total for this work to be performed was $350.25.While diving the following weekend, the main regulator one breaths from while diving, began to leak severely. In addition, the air source 3 was also leaking air, however not as bad. We immediately took the equipment back to Underseas SCUBA to find out what the issue was with the equipment. It was not leaking prior to taking the equipment into Underseas SCUBA. The Equipment was dropped off to Underseas SCUBA on 10/10/2011 for further adjustments and repair (from the original work that they performed imprecisely). The equipment was picked up again fro

the best dive shop in chicagoland

Back in the autumn of 2006, i had the chance to take a trip to Thailand. My travel partner said we'd be doing some diving- my first of what is now many experiences. Underseas Scuba was the only shop still offering certification classes in the Chicago area, so I signed up with them. They were super accommodating, and despite my super un-flexible schedule, got me certified in time for the trip. I've been diving with them ever since. I've purchased all of my gear through them (they have the best prices around, and the service is impeccable), traveled on many of their amazing trips from Cozumel, Mexico to the Galapagos (twice!), and learned a ton about underwater photography from the owner, Bruce. I just signed up for the Padi Dive Master Program, and look forward to many more mind-blowing trips in the future (like Wakatobi, Indonesia this autumn)! Thank you, Underseas, for adding a facet to my life that truly, truly rocks!

19 years of business with Underseas Scuba Center.

I've doing business with Underseas Scuba Center since 1993. I've visited other shops closer to my home but they just don't offer me the service and confidence in the products they sell like I get when dealing with the Underseas staff. Bruce and Sandy are fantanisic dive shop owners and put every ounce of energy in what they do to make sure that everybody enjoys their underwater adventure. They service all my equipment and always keep me informed of any changes that arise with products. The staff follow the owners lead and give 100% in what they do. There is a reason why I drive almost two hours to deal with Underseas Scuba, their knowledge and love for diving and the way they pass it on to their customers is by far the best I've ever experienced. While on dive trips, any Underseas staff member leading the group, they will always make sure that everybody is taken care of and any needs or concerns is addressed in a very timely and professional manner.

Great Dive shop with wonderful owners

I have been using this shop for most all my needs for over 6 years now.Owners and staff are wonderful.They always make sure that any warranty items and or recalls are addressed with any gear I bring there to maintain.The prices are reasonable - better then others in my area - and they have a wide selection to chose from.My kids will be certified through them when they are ready to "get wet"

Terrible Experience

Working with this company was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a professional organization. They first tried to condense the classes I had signed up for two months in advance in order to save money because the class hadn't filled up. Since I had already informed my work of the days I needed off I wasn't allowed enough time to change my work schedule and ended up not getting certified by the time I went on my trip to the Bahamas. After that they told me I could take my course on specific days which were very hard for me to work into my schedule. When I found out I was being transfered for work to ATL they refused to refund me my open water course money even though it was three weeks prior to the class and the MANAGER of the company yelled at me over the phone saying his record showed I "missed" my course and therefore could not be refunded even though it was their mix up to begin with. The conversation ended with him hanging up on me and almost bringing me to tears. I h
