I visited this salon a few times, and it is very nicely set up with a clean environment, but all of this means nothing when the workers can barely communicate with you, and when they do theyre pressuring you to spend more money on all sorts of things. It honestly makes you feel uncomfortable how they hound you to add on "millions" of other items to boost your bill. Mind you this place is fairly pricey already, though they do have a lot to offer for the price. Touching back on my point on their limited use of English, I dealt with a situation where the worker charged my credit card TWICE ! & she did not notify me, until I came back upset. Then she kept over speaking me, saying words that I could not even understand, and this led me having to ask to speak to the owner because she had no idea what to do! When I spoke with the owner she was really rude, and this made me even more upset, she told me "I am out with my kids so there is nothing I can do about it now" and insulted my intelligence by continuing to tell me " do you know the process?! I wont be able to get to this till later...." around those words, it really made me upset that I spent so much money there and she could care less about helping me with my situation, and to top it off she did not want to compensate at all for any of my troubles. It really made me think "why am I the consumer, supporting such a rude and selfish woman" Finally I called my bank and they told me what I already knew which is " She as the owner should make it her job to fix the problem since I'm the loyal customer" after an hour of making phone calls to decide my next move I went back to the nail shop, and the poor woman who barely knew any English called my bank as they were suppose to do from the start, and told the bank that she made a mistake. In all honesty the mistake that they made at double charging my card almost $200 is not what bothered me most, it was how rude and not helpful the owner was. This has resulted into me not supporting this business again since Im not a valued customer anyway, besides this nail shop does nails no different than any other place so I wont be missing much.
