        First Settlement Physical Therapy (FSPT) is a family owned private practice that strives to treat its employees and patients as part of that family. We have been in business 15 years and have grown into 15 clinics throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley. FSPT’s first clinic was founded in Marietta, OH in 1999. The company name originates from Marietta being the Northwest Territory’s first settlement so we thought First Settlement Physical Therapy would be quite fitting! FSPT is owned by Hema Hargus. Her son, Simon Hargus; her husband, Phil Hargus; and her daughter in-law, Lisa Hargus, along with an extremely well-trained staff, help run FSPT and make it the Mid-Ohio Valley’s most trusted physical therapy provider.

        My experience at FSPT has been fantastic. Dr. Stern referred me to FSPT in Vienna because Hema is the only certified hand therapist in the area. First Settlement Physical Therapy has so many convenient locations in fact I have been to another location before and both have been great. They are easy to work with and they get my appointment started on time unlike other places I have been. I’ve been to FSPT about 2 months and I’m now back to 65-70% function in my hands because of Hema. I won’t go anywhere but First Settlement Physical Therapy and I would recommend FSPT to all my family and friends!

        I went to First Settlement Physical Therapy in Vienna. The whole staff was wonderful. We very much enjoyed going twice a week for therapy. This past Wednesday was my last day . We are going to miss all the girls . I want to wish everyone there a very Merry Christmas and a Happy new year. Thank you all for everything.

        My time here was great! The staff was very friendly and fun. My shoulder feels much better. Also, playing the xbox for movement was so fun I bought my own.
