Budget Rent A Car

We rented a 16' truck 1 way from this location for 2 days by reserving online. We got a confirmation by phone to make sure they would actually have a truck for us when we got there. All this is useless, because when you go to pick up your truck, they make you repeat all your information (which you have already entered online) so they can find you instead of using the reference number from the reservation. This wastes an enormous amount of time, -1 star.



Online it says that the deposit of $150 is waved if you pay by credit card. When we paid by credit card, they still added the $150 saying that the card wouldn't be charged but just needed to be authorized for the total amount. After the truck was dropped off, our account was charged the extra $150. We had to call to fix this and they said it would take 1 week to get it back!! - 2 stars.



The back of the truck doesn't lock, you have to buy a lock if you want your stuff to be safe.



If you want quick service, ask for a different receptionist, because the one we got had no idea what she was doing and made us lose 45 minutes, without counting that while she is trying to figure out what you came to pick up (which was reserved online and by phone previously) she takes calls and tells you to wait while she "helps" other people. Bad service, -1 star.
