Outlaws Cafe

Lives up to it's reputation.



I was assigned to Jury Duty while I was on a diet. Part of my diet involves eating a salad with a lean protein source for lunch. Doing some online research pointed me towards Outlaws and their menu (available online) showed at least a couple salads that looked acceptable so I decided to give them a try.



When I arrived at the beginning of traditional lunch time there were a few patrons in the restaurant but it wasn't packed so I was seated (pick any seat) right away. Service was prompt as well.



If you are overly concerned about atmosphere maybe you won't like this place, it's obvious that it's been quite a few different businesses over the years and the decor is a bit confused. I don't mind this at all.



I ordered the most appetizing looking of their salads, the Gunslinger (hold the tortilla chips and bacon). When it arrived it was impressive, it was obviously hand made and used high quality, fresh ingredients. It was also a good size for a meal.



The drinks were a bit on the small side though they were reasonably good (not great) about refills. Really this is my only issue with my experience.



I would definitely eat here again if in the area and actually might come back when I'm not on the diet to try one of their delicious looking burgers.
