Professional Paralegal Program has a few good teachers, but I wish I had gone to Pasadena City College instead. The classes I have been taking there and at the library are filling the gaps from that program. They certainly are good salesmen when it comes to their program.

The Professional Paralegal Academy will cost you $4000 for 1 year of study. Throughout that year you can expect to find almost all classroom doors locked and inaccessable, teachers rushing through the material at the speed of light to compensate for the short class time allotted, a end of year shuffle while your class is suddenly relocated to two different rooms in different parts of campus unexpectedly. You will also find that the Associate Dean while seemingly interested in the thoguhts and impressions the students have about the instructors, is really content to have things continue as they are without any changes. You may also find that when you come out of the class you are just as clueless about how to write a legal research paper or conduct library legal research as you were when you signed up for the class in the first place. If you are anything like me this will scare you to death and you will pray to God you haven't been retarded wasting $4k on out of focus concepts & do-it-yourself instruction methods! I only hope to God I will be someone worthy of Paralegal employment after all is said and done! I fear I may not be though and I blame it on the disorganization of this program. Maybe in years past it was facilitated better but the class of 2007 so far sure has gotten a raw deal! It won't matter to me one bit if I pass the entire class but still have no idea how to succeed in a Law Firm! I also recently found out that the Program is not even accredited! Go figure!
