I have to admit I've had my share of plumbing issues along with incompetent plumbers! Just like everyone else when there is an plumbing issue I immediately try to avoid the expense so I try to find the cheapest way out, I even try to fix it myself with the help of a computer :). But those days are over I found this local plumbing company that works out of Van Nuys, it was like finding a diamond in a pile of rubble! I was tired of calling all those BIG name companies that promise to deliver the best and if they do it comes with a hefty price tag. Lightning Plumbing is a owner operated which means the owner is not afraid to get dirt under his nails, i've had the pleasure of meeting Arthur(owner) when he came out the first time to provide his service. As any concerned person who invites a stranger into their home, i planned on asking him for a little background but before i was able to ask he provided all the information as if he was reading my mind, he made me feel very comfortable. He's been in the plumbing field for many years, even though he's young his knowledge shines out very noticeably, he takes pride in his work and provides only the best service, and trust me he is very honest I put him to the test, in this world you have to otherwise you will end up paying for something that should have been replaced not repaired.

I had a leak around the toilet i wasn't sure of the exact source of the leak when I called Lightning Plumbing, Arthur came out and took a look he tested around and explained to me the possibility of the leak before he pin pointed the leak he gave me options on how to repair the issue and not pushy at all he was so thorough It didnt leave any room for questions it was defiantly a refreshing change. Oh let me add this before he entered my home he put on these funny shoe covers you know the one the nurses wear at a hospital but when he said it was to keep my carpet clean it was a shock to me, this was the first service man who came into my home that actually cared, I told him it was pointless my carpet is old and i was gonna clean it later anyways, he responded "it doesn't really matter as long as i don't make the mess, I wouldn't want someone coming into my home and leaving dirty footprints on my floors" we laughed about it but he was right. He was very fast and cleaned up after him self he even insisted on vacuuming my carpet since hes already here, but in a sincere way not as if he was fishing for anything.



I would recommend Lightning Plumbing to everyone I would say if your the shop around type call them last just to prove that overall they are the best from price to service. With a free on site estimate you have nothing to lose.
