First and forth most LOVE LOVE...

First and forth most LOVE LOVE LOVE this school! My husband and I researched several pre K Schools, and we decided to send our 2 children here. The teachers are AMAZING! They are so hands on, caring and they go above and beyond in every way! They come home after school and are so excited to be apart of something so wonderful!! The structure is great!!! My kids are learning so much, (even more then I had expected) and have having fun while they are doing it! It's such a wonderful, caring loving school. The program that they offer is teaching my kids so much! We are in our second year, and now they walk around the house with notepads asking how to spell words, (already knowing the alphabet), they are excelling because of how wonderful the program Children's garden offers! Also at 4, they are being able to read already!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful the school, program, and teachers are. It truly has been the best choice we have made for our kid's pre K program/school choice. The learning, and structure is great, but my favorite part is seeing the smile on my kids faces when they greet there teachers with hugs, and are excited to learn! The amount of love and devotion shows, and for that my husband and I are blessed to have such an amazing school.

First off, I have to say that ...

First off, I have to say that I absolutely love this preschool. I put my son in the preschool about 6 months ago and it has been, by far, one of the best experiences for him so far in his life. The staff here has an entire program for the kids that teaches them a lot more than most preschools would. My son loves it here and so do myself and my husband. There is nothing but great things coming out of this preschool. I wasnt sure if my son was ready for preschool at the age of 3 but I figured we could try it out and get him a head start. We took him to the Childrens Garden and after only 1 month he knew the alphabet, could write his name, and could say the pledge of allegiance. He also even knew some words in Spanish! I am amazed at what this preschool does!

And as for the review that was before mine, I see that a parent had a bad experience with this preschool. I have seen their son at the preschool and he wasnt there very long but when he was I saw that he was definitely not mature enough to start preschool yet. He often would cry when his mom left him and throw huge fits. I do not believe that any of the harsh things he said about Childrens garden are true at all. The staff is very professional 100% of the time and they are very VERY good with the kids. They were also very good with this child and tried to work with him but it didn’t work out. All of the kids there seem to love it and have a great time. I guess sometimes when your child doesnt behave you dont want to take the blame on yourself and you blame others.

Anyways, I would definitely recommend the Childrens garden to anyone that wants to enroll their child into preschool. This would be the ONLY preschool I would recommend them to. Everything about the Childrens Garden is top notch and there is nothing but great things coming out of it for the children enrolled in it.

There is a huge lack of commun...

There is a huge lack of communication from this school's staff to parents. This is not a pre school! This is a Pre-K classroom, and definately not a first "pre school" that someone should enroll a child into. My son wanted to go to preschool like Caillou...and at 3 1/2...He was excited! My son excelled in this class for the first 2 days, then was moved from afternoon to mornings.....WHY??. On the morning of the 3rd class was his last successful day in the program. The next class was Valentine's Day Party....The new experience overwelmed my child...after 15 minutes of "unacceptable" behavior my wife was called from home to come and get him. She packed up our 2 year old and headed accross town. What my wife did not know, was, my son had already calmed down, only 10 minutes after the phone call. SO, why wouldn't the staff call? we do live in a world with cell phones. The next class, he lasted a whole 3 minutes before....lets go get MOMMY! and that was the staffs answer...give the power to the child. I think time out would have been fine. He is 3 1/2, with a new experience, still adjusting, and a staff that only wants robot sheep in the class. So my wife and I had no choice, and we were not left with a choice. My wife and I had to pull our child. This was because the staff set the precident of when my child has a problem in thier care, and throws a fit, lets just get MOMMY. They should have "DONE THE JOB WE ARE PAYING FOR" and when thereis something going on, communicate the issues right away. Don't wait! Do not deflect blame, this was The Children's Garden's inadequacy with dealing with a NON SHEEP child...and to the owner, do not say we leave it up to MOM, that is a cop out. They were entrusted to take care of my child, and were paid to teach them discipline, social interaction, and learning, not "if you throw a fit" we will get MOMMY. This company pushed blame on us parents. Yes it is our job to raise our child, and introduce our children to new experiences. This experience was a set back, we will now have to get our son re-excited for pre-school, then start again with another preschool. Instead of the child getting a lesson, it was us parents that recieved the lesson. Thank you, but this company could have offered a pro-rated refund for the 5 of 8 class days left, that would have been professional. Instead...We do not recommend this school!

Signed, Dad
