Sonoma Grande Apartments

I love it out here very peaceful and quiet. I love my one bedroom, I actually feel like a princess living out here lol. You do have to make a certain income to live out here. They are very strict on making sure you pick up your pet poo which is rightfully so. My family was so impressed by the place and that I actually lived across the street from a golf course. Very nice out here. Never had a problem with getting anything fixed. Happy tenant right here.

Don't take the risk. My boyfriend and I believed we had found the perfect place and put down a deposit on a 2bed/2bath. We were given a move in date and an address and FORCED by the management at Sonoma to give our 30 days notice at our old place before we could finish the application. Then two days later we were called and told that the people whose unit we were moving into had changed their minds and it was too much trouble and money to go to court and evict them and so too bad for us. Our apartments follow the law and we're now going to be homeless at the end of the month and are scrambling to find somewhere else to live. Angry and devastated doesn't even begin to cover how I feel right now. Brooke, the woman we were working with at the apartments gave me a big speech about how there were several bad reviews on this site because she refused to make exceptions and treat anyone differently, so people got mad when they were charged late fees etc., and took it out on her. This was obviously a bold faced LIE as 24 hours later they are screwing us over, breaking the law, and obviously giving special treatment to someone. Don't take the risk - the people that work there are untrustworthy liars. It might be nice if you can actually get in there but it's not worth letting them destroy your life and make you homeless. They did have another, smaller, not as nice unit available and several people have told me these apartments were probably stringing me along the whole time trying to put me in a position where I would have no choice but to move into the smaller place and they never actually had the unit we wanted available. Also, the people that work there are either very ditzy or manipulative liars. we were first told there were no units the size we wanted available, then when we weren't going to take a smaller one, 'whoopsie, actually we have a 2 bed 2 bath, exactly what you were looking for.' Then we were told there was a deal going on with no deposit and scheduled a move in date for Dec 1st. The next day 'Whoopsie, you have to move in by Nov 20th to get this deal.' There are better, more honest places out there, keep looking.
