General Info
MyLife Services was established as Energy Savers in 1988. The business primary focus was marketing radiant barrier to consumers and businesses in the central Texas area. Later, Energy Savers became Energy Software and began developing energy saving projection software. In 1992 Energy Software was dissolved and all assets were transferred to MyLife Software. The first line of business was in developing a software program for Business Office Service Systems. The application managed nursing home records. The program was capable of allowing 264 concurrent users access to 600 long term health care facilities. Later in the year MyLife Software began development on data security software, under contract, which was later sold to the United States Department of Defense. In 1993, MyLife Software continued to review the needs of businesses and home personal computer users by developing a successful needs analysis format allowing clients to quickly select computer systems. MyLife Software was absorbed by MyLife Services in 1994. MyLife Services, at that time, encompassed business and personal consulting services, custom computer programming, computer system maintenance services, and developing product distribution channels. The many facets of MyLife Services tended to dilute its effectiveness. By 1995 most of the services within MyLife Services were dropped or merely no longer supported. The only items remaining were ; developing distribution channels, personal computer program development and three computer system maintenance contracts. In late 1996 MyLife Services added a new product line and client base. MyLife Services began offering low cost life insurance and cash accumulation products to U.S. Army soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas. This new sector of MyLife Services proved very successful and by early 1997 nearly all other areas were dropped with the exception of maintaining the Business Office Service Systems computer system. In March of 1998, MyLife Services expanded business operations to include El Paso, Texas. Home base operations continue to be maintained in central Texas. The El Paso operation include service to the 11, 300 soldiers at Fort Bliss and approximately 5, 000 other military personnel in the National Guard and Reserves. January of 2003 brought a new page to MyLife Services enterprise with the addition of a Tulsa, Oklahoma office. Included in this office is the home office of Dirty Dog Media. Dirty Dog Media is responsible for the development and maintenance of all information management systems and software development. In late 2004 the financial and retirement advising broke from MyLife Services and became The Benefit Coordinators. The Benefit Coordinators is wholly owned by MyLife Services. They continue to provide financial guidance to all individuals collecting a paycheck received by tax dollars.
