Established in 1980, Darnaby Elementary School serves students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes classes in art, music, physical education, reading and special education. The school s extracurricular activities include safety patrol, special Olympics, recycling program, Darnaby carnival and science fair. Darnaby Elementary School s student council provides decision-making and leadership opportunities. It has a computer lab that offers classes in keyboarding and computer application. Darnaby Elementary School also has a science lab, media center, gym and cafeteria. Additionally, the school provides classes in gardening and tree plantation and offers vision and hearing screenings for students. Darnaby Elementary School is a part of the Union Public Schools and is located in Tulsa, Okla.
