Tucson Orthopaedic Institute Surgical Training Center provides education to medical professionals. It has a more than 40-seat lecture room and it provides interaction with surgeons through video conferencing. The institute also has a bioskills laboratory facility that includes more than six work stations. Each of the work station has over 250-square-foot facility and is equipped with cadaveric specimens and anatomical models. The laboratory is equipped with more than five plasma screens to relay the procedure at the demonstration station. Additionally, it has a private office with phone, fax, and computer with high-speed Internet that allows participants to stay in touch with offices during the conference.
