I have lived in this complex for three years. New management took over one year ago, and since then, I have witnessed a remarkable turnaround. The Ranch immediately began creating a new image for this apartment community. They poured tons of money into landscaping, office remodeling, and fitness/computer lab improvements. They replaced shady Reserve employees with a kind, friendly, and HONEST staff. They showed that are committed to their residents, and I can tell that they truly care.
All in all, I think the new management has done a great job over the past year and I am very happy to be living here.
They are refusing to Honor The Service Members Civil Relief Act. My daughter presented them with her orders and a written notice that she is shipping out. Her lease was to start on Aug 17th. She gave Rachel her orders along with signed paper work from her recruiter on Aug 10th. First they told her she could not break the lease then they told her it would cost $2,000 to break the lease. They also told her a lawyer was reviewing the lease. Rachel will not return any calls to me or my daughter on the status of this. Now they want her to pay for Aug and Sept. rent, even though she has not lived there. They are clearly uneducated in real estate law. The staff needs to be educated on the Service Members Civil Relief Act. We live in a military town. I will be pressing charges if this is not resolved in a timely manor. justice.gov/sites/defaul…

Mrs. Martin, It was a great being able to touch base with you directly. I know that after our conversation we understand each other and the situation at hand much better. You have raised a very respectful, polite daughter and working with her to get solid answers has been a pleasure. We at Homestead-U and The Ranch at Star Pass are committed to do whatever we need to do to uphold any legal act including the military act and fair housing. Great price. Cool apartment. Big gym with nice equipment. I like all the cable channels to go with the big TV that came with the apartment the most. They have a lot of events here so I have met tons of new friends so it feels very homie here. I would highly recommend it here. Office staff have been good and the new manager will make sure you have what you need to make you happy.
I love living here. My apartment is fully furnished, has a big tv with tons of cable channels including HBO. (a lot of other properties don't have HBO). Its affordable, clean, safe, TWO working shuttles (this is good because I don't have a car) and the office people are really nice. Also lots of fun things to do.
