Medical Weight Loss
The amount of improvement achieved depends on how much wrinkling and sagging you have before surgery. In addition, a sudden weight loss may contribute to excess skin in the facial area.

Pregnancy

Ultrasound
The risks associated with this surgery include uneven contours, rippling or loose skin, skin or nerve damage, irregular pigmentation, infection at the incision site, fat clots, blood clots, excessive fluid loss or fluid accumulation. There is also a risk of thermal burn or heat injury from the ultrasound-assisted or laser assisted liposuction. The use of an anesthesia carries risks.

General Surgery
A Tucsonan for over twenty-five years, Dr. Case graduated with Honors and Distinction, earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Arizona. Following his plastic surgery residency at the University of Southern California, Dr. Case served as the Director of a Division of Plastic Surgery in Texas where he taught residents from Baylor University and the University of Texas Southwestern.
Wound Care
Following the laser resurfacing treatment, wound healing will usually occur over 7-10 days with proper wound care. The redness and swelling will subside over days to weeks, but may take months. The new skin will be sensitive to ultraviolet light until fully healed therefore sun avoidance and regular sunscreen use are required.
Ear Surgery
A good candidate for ear surgery is: in good physical and emotion health, children should be cooperative and able to follow instructions, children should be able to communicate their feelings, children whose ears have reached near adult size (about 9 years old.)

Breast Augmentation
The fat transfer procedure involves removing fat from an area, separating the fat from other tissues and then injecting it into the breasts. It takes many precise small injections to reshape the breast. The surgical process to perform fat transfer takes longer than traditional breast augmentation, however, the recovery time is quicker and tends to be less painful. Women are not usually able to achieve the same volume increase from fat transfer that would be possible using either saline or silicone breast implants. Women are typically able to increase the volume of breasts up to a bra cup size increase.
Breast Reduction
Women who have large, pendulous breasts that cause neck or back pain, bra-strap grooves in the shoulders or inhibit physical activity may find breast reduction surgery beneficial to correct these functional limitations and achieve a more proportional silhouette. The surgery can be performed on one or both of the breasts.
Breast Lift
If your breasts do not appear the same, don't worry. Many people have breast asymmetries. One breast may be bigger or smaller, sit higher or lower on the chest, or be of a different shape. Breast asymmetries can result from developmental differences, post pregnancy and/or breast feeding, previous surgery or traumatic injuries. Although we are not mirror images of ourselves, the appearance of breast asymmetries can be improved by using different size or shaped implants, or performing a mastopexy (breast lift) on one breast.

Often times patients come in for a consultation and talk about taking fat from one area and moving it to another area. They do not realize that this is possible with some of the most advanced surgical techniques. This technology can be used for breast augmentation, to disguise the rippling of breast implants and assist with breast reconstruction after a mastectomy or lumpectomy and breast deformities. Fat transfer has been used for a number of years for buttock augmentation and studied for use in breast enlargement for twenty years. Throughout the years of many clinical studies, the surgical techniques have been refined with much success.

Abdominoplasty
The risks associated with abdominoplasty surgery include blood clots, infection, bleeding under the skin flap, or poor healing that results in visible scarring or skin loss.
Nose Surgery
You should have a clear idea of how you would like your nose to look and be able to point out exactly what you would like to see improved. Cosmetic nose surgery is a very individualized procedure. Patients should have a physical and emotional maturity. If you are a teen, is it important that the nose is fully developed and that your desire to change your appearance is for you and not your friends or parents. In some instances surgery of the chin may be recommended to make it either more or less prominent to improve your facial appearance. Body Lift
This procedure is customized to the individual needs of the patient, so incision patterns and locations will vary. A lower body lift may place incisions in a bikini pattern to tighten the abdomen, groin, waist, thighs and buttocks. A circumferential incision around the body also may be used. When a patient desires a scar revision surgery, the old scar is removed or cut –out and the new incision is closed under less tension. Laser Resurfacing
Side effects of laser resurfacing may include bleeding, infection, anesthesia and hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. Wrinkles may persist or recur over time. Scarring is extremely rare.
