Opa's Best Greek Restaurant

I liked their food. They were fast and tasty.

The food was great and really authentic. We had the lamb shanks with the green beans and potatoes and it was outstanding. Came with Greek salad very good. Especially liked the Saganaki too. The prices are relatively high, approaching fine dining, but it was not fine dining. The atmosphere is more of a storefront but they do wait on you and the service is pretty good. I would eat there again because of the portions and the quality of the food along with decent service, albeit a little high-priced. Our waitress brought the bill before even asking if we wanted coffee or dessert, someone needs to train her that a bigger bill results in a bigger tip, never let glasses go empty or let people go without desert or a coffee. Missed opportunity, however we did ask for the coffee and sent the bill back to be reworked. LOL. All in all it’s nice to see another Greek option in Tucson other than gyros shops. This restaurant is a notch below Athens, and much above the other Opa In quality and quantity of food. Is a notch above Frominos, but mainly because I like to sit down and be waited on. It is significantly higher cost than Frominos, but Frominos is a winning combination in itself. I hope this restaurant will be successful as I think they fill a niche. Just not sure that Tucson can support the price point. Hope I’m wrong because I really loved the food!
