        Overall

        Went in March 14, 2020 for exam, picked up eyeglasses at door. After using eyeglasses for two weeks, I realized their was no improvement in distant vision, however reading was good. I called back and was told because of covid-19, they were backed up and they would put me on thr list and call me back. I waited...waited... and waited, so I called back and was given appointment for Friday, 10/9/2020. after a 2nd exam my new glasses were ready 10/17. The distance vision was now acceptable, but now the reading vision was blurry. Another appointment and exam on 10/21. Their doctor examined my eyes and inspected the glasses, after which she had me lift them and look through the very bottom of the lens above the frame and to my surprise the reading vision was good. The doctor told me the reading portion of the lens was incorrect and was too low. She made made notes, sent me back to front counter where I was told I would have to pay more because I had three exams. I fail to understand why I am being penalized because they can't get it right. I am 83 years old and blind in my left eye, they only had one lens to get correct and couldn't do that with two tries. I had paid them $287.14 for one pair of eyeglasses which is the most I've paid in my life, but accepted the price because I thought I was getting the best, however now I have to hold my glasses up abut 1/4 inch to read.
