At H.E.A.L. Therapies we are very excited to bring you a unique combination of Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy. Our philosophy is to treat the person as an integrated whole in mind, body and spirit. By doing this we believe we can determine and treat the root cause of an illness or disease in addition to the symptoms. Both of these modalities are powerful on their own but, when combined, we believe that the potential for healing is multiplied. Chinese herbs are often recommended to supplement and enhance the therapeutic benefits of Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy. One of the greatest advantages of Chinese herbal medicine is that it is highly effective, but generally has fewer – and less severe – adverse side effects than prescription drugs. Chinese herbs can often be taken along with prescription drugs, but you should always talk to both your physician and your acupuncturist first to avoid the possibility of undesirable drug/herb interactions.
