Diamond EyeCare is very close to my home and I am glad that I decided to use their services for my eye care needs. Dr. Diamos and the staff are very professional and thorough, and though the wait for my glasses was a bit longer than I had hoped it would be, it really wasn't much longer than the wait with my previous ophthalmologist/optometrist. Dr. Diamos was very thorough, offers generous office hours and some evening hours, and I feel that I have chosen the best provider for my needs.

I saw Dr. Diamos for an eye exam and purchased wire eyeglasses from Diamond Eye Care. Within only a few weeks, the color began peeling off the frames. I went to see them. They adjusted the glasses and told me that it was MY fault, that the "acid in my skin" was destroying the paint. Then they tried to blame it on my allergy to nickel. Trouble is, I did NOT have the typical green staining that accompanies acidic reactions AND titanium is resistant to acid AND is hypoallergenic, so none of their blaming works. I wrote Dr. Diamos and told her that I wanted new eyeglasses because these will have no color left on them soon. (The nosepiece is has no paint left on it, and there is a gray stain on my skin every day from wearing these glasses.) She completely ignored my e-mail! DO NOT go to Diamond Eye Care. There are plenty of other qualified, good opticians in Tucson whom you can purchase quality eyewear from instead of CHEAP, INFERIOR, LOW-QUALITY glasses.

Excellent service and very good prices. Wait time for glasses to come in very long. If you don't need your glasses immediately or in a timely fashion, then, I highly recommend them, otherwise better look to some place with an in-house lab.

Best eye care around!

First, I have to disagree with the review from the other customer. I have been a customer of Diamond Eyecare since, I think, 2005. And I have been treated with great care and professionalism by all staff members. The doctor is the best I have ever had the pleasure of going to since I was 9 years old (I am now 47). She is very knowledgeable in her field and her concern for your eyecare is very impressive. One other thing I must note is last year when I had to go for my annual checkup, I know longer had insurance. They worked with me and gave discounts so that I still had the best care that was needed. I would truly recommend Diamond Eyecare to all who are in need of eyecare. They truly care.
