I have used Ed Cain for many years and would recommend them to anyone. I have a Dodge Truck, and they keep this in top mechanical shape. They are honest, fair and quick with the repairs.

I have been bringing my cars to Ed Cains Auto Service for over 10 years now for routine maintenance and occasional major repairs. He has always treated me with professionalism. The last time was when I needed a new transmission. His estimate was fair and the repair was timely.

We went with our diesel and were told by other shops that don't do diesel that he was the best in town.



Ed Cain ended up taking us for $1600 and did nothing with it. When we asked to take it to another shop, we luckily found another shop. He was very reluctant to give us our car back and asked for another $500 to take it as-is.



We did not pay the $500 more, and came with a tow truck that morning, to our car that was left with the windows down for two weeks. Three boxes were put into the rear area filled with bolts and parts from what he had said he had done. The head was put on our seat without anything between the car part and our seat. Our seats are leather.



Overall, I'm very angry with not receiving proper service on my vehicle. When we took it to the mechanic that finished the job. He told us that prior work that was done was about 8 hours worth. Which means he was charging us $200 an hour.



It would have been better, to be honest and up front with the costs or if it was beyond his knowledge of the problem. To track the labor costs and show us what's being done. Not avoid our phone calls, or be short with us when we are calling on progress. Our car was there for 3 weeks, and looked the same for the last two weeks until we decided to move it.



I would not recommend this place for work of any kind.

owner was rude and lacked people skills.this business claims ase certified but could not show certificates.after you pay your bill,your keys will be thrown across the counter to you.
