Bombardier is a world-leading manufacturer of transportation solutions, from regional aircraft and business jets to rail transportation equipment. Learjet was created in 1990 to acquire the assets and operations of Learjet Corporation, a United States builder of the Learjet business aircraft. Learjet s Tucson facility provides jet maintenance and regional jet service. In 2004, the Tucson Airport Authority s board of directors ratified the sublease of more than 32,500 acres of the 180-acre Bombardier Learjet leasehold in Tucson to DunnAir, a full-service completion center for large corporate jets.
