        Overall
        The receptionist told me there...

        The receptionist told me there would be no co -pays , that my insurance always pays everything . Now I am getting bills. Called and the manager sided with the employees. You are just a subject will make the company money . Go somewhere that cares about you as a person.

        Dear julied, I apologize for your inconvenience in dealing with your insurance co-pays. As a courtesy at Bodycentral, the staff calls the patient's insurance company prior to their first appointment. The insurance company relays to us the contract they have between them and the patient. This may be a co-pay amount or a co-insurance amount that the patient has to pay each visit- as determined by the insurance company. When the staff gets this information, they relay it to the patient. At times we are given incorrect information by the insurance representative, and at other times I am sure as people- we make mistakes on our end. We recommend that patients either know their benefits or make a call to their insurance carrier to make sure the information we receive is the same that the patient receives. This is a good double-checking system. Again, I apologize to you JulieD and anyone else inconvenienced by misinformation. Thank you, Jennifer
