Physical Therapist / West Alex was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with her Bachelor in Physiology. She then graduated from Northern Arizona University in late 2017 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, neurologic and vestibular/balance therapy. She is also certified in dry needling and in concussion management training, and she is always looking to expand her skills in order to better help her patients meet their goals. She specializes in sports medicine, orthopedics, pediatric orthopedics, post-op recovery, manual therapy, and dry needling. Marissa is certified in Parkinson Wellness Recovery and is passionate about working with patients from all walks of life to form a therapeutic alliance. Marissa enjoys traveling, watching baseball, and spending time camping and hiking with her fiancée and 3 dogs in her spare time.
