Salon Baci

I have gotten my hair done about three times now from Salon Baci, and I wont go ANYWHERE else. Ellie always takes time to explain what she is doing to my hair and what products she is putting in, to both dye and style my hair. She has also given me great tips and tricks to keep my hair looking fab, when she isn't around to style it. I am never disappointed.

This past Saturday was my first time at Salon Baci. Angela seemed genuinely concerned when I walked in with a terrible dye job from V.I.P. Salon and Spa. She gave me a recommendation on what to do and fit me in same day. My stylist "Ellie" seemed like she knew what she was doing and fixed my terrible blonde dye job - turning it brown with some subtle highlights on the bottom. (A semi-ombre I like to call it). When I got home, I noticed that when I pull my hair back I have three random blonde highlights in the center of my head that start about an inch back from my hairline. Don't really like that or know how that happened but okay. Also, I have a small blonde patch on the underside of my hair, which is annoying, but still nothing to send me through the roof. I asked her to "TRIM" my hair and this is when it gets bad. Of course when she styled it it looked good, but when I got home, I discovered a hair cut disaster. I asked her to just dust the bottoms and clean up my layers and I now have a shelf of hair for my top layer with my longer hair underneath. It's like she took half of my hair and cut 2 inches off and left my longer hair underneath. HOW IS THIS A TRIM?!??? My hair looks shoulder length from the front and mid back/bra strap length in the back. I am counting down the minutes until they open tomorrow so I can call and demand a refund or some miracle fix work. Also, I do agree that the girls talk a little bit too much about the bars and getting drunk, but I'm pretty laid back about that. I wouldn't want my child to hear though and there was a little girl getting her nails painted. Downriver just sucks for any type of hair service.

Angela and Laura are the definition of consummate professionals in their field. I called with a three hour notice of needing a complete overhaul on my hair and Angela fit me in and gave me such a beautiful style and color that I immediately started getting compliments from strangers. The next morning they both met me at 7 a.m. to style my hair and do my make up before an important event that I had to attend at 9 a.m. that day. I received compliments on my make up from person's in the Media World who have their makeup done for them every day. I attended the event with a confidence that I would have not had if not for the amazing talent of the Salon Baci staff! Thank you! Thank you!

I went in and seen Amber. I explained to her what I wanted. Low lights and highlights but in the past I've always had to deal with yellow highlights. She has been the only one who has acheived super blonde highlights And the cut was great! Thanks again Amber. I love it!

I don't know how this place stays in business! The last 2 reviews said it perfectly. I have never in my life been so uncomfortable. The salon owner was a wreck! I was nauseated by her stories and offended by her crude racial comments. My hair looked so bad that I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. I was greatly dissapointed and will NEVER go back. I know salons are a place for gossip, but common people!

I totally agree with this! I took my daughter here thinking it looked like a nice place. I walked in to make the appointment one day, and it was Angela who was sitting at the desk. She gave me an appt. for my daughter not telling me it was with Angela, but never telling me that she was actually Angela.(How professional, especially when did you know she is the OWNER??) I walked out thinking, god I hope she isn't Angela, because she just seemed trashy and not professional at all. So we went, and I was not impressed at all. My daughter was getting highlights for the first time, and I paid extra to have more highlights put in, and she still walked out not looking much different!!!! Grrrrrr!! Paid $100 for nothing! It was a complete joke, and I didn't care for her language and stories either! Never again!

TRASHY!! This was the WORST salon experience of my entire life. At first glance the salon is clean and classy. Once you get past the nice decor you realize it is just lip stick on a pig. While waiting for my stylist I was very offended by the profound language used by the stylst closest to the door. It would have made a sailor blush! Then I was sickened when I realized that was Angela, the girl my appointment was with. She asked me what I wanted done, then her text message alert went off, she nodded at me as if she was listening while she read her message and responded to it. No suprise that she had to ask me again what it was that I wanted (and still got it wrong). The entire time she was cutting and coloring my hair she went on and on to me about how badly she "screwed" her ex-husband in their divorce. She bragged about the lies she told and all the money she got. I was not impressed with her stories or with how my hair turned out. I could not wait to get out of there. The price was astounding, she told me it was $20 more than their menu price because she is 'better' than the other stylists. She gave me a coupon for my next appointment. I threw it in the barbage, I will NOT be back.

I have been getting my hair cut and colored at Salon Baci since it opened and I've never had a bad cut or color. The owner is my stylist. She takes the time to ask me questions about my hair before she begins. She recommends new products when they come out for my hair. I love the atmosphere when I go there, and the conversation with the stylists, they are all very friendly and caring. I would recommend this salon to any of my acquintances. Keep up the great work.

I have been going to this salon for about 2 years. The staff are very friendly and very good at what they do. The environment is very comfortable, yet classy. When I had my wedding last year, all the girls in the wedding party came to the salon and got their hair done. Everyone looked great!
