Stress Management
Kate is a licensed certified social worker - clinical who received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University, and completed her master's degree in Social Work at University of Maryland. Kate works with a variety of adults and children dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, stress management, ADHD and other issues that are negatively affecting their daily functioning. Kate's approach to therapy comes from a social work perspective and she considers it a collaborative approach between client and therapist, respecting the client's right to self-determination and helping them to identify and clarify their personal goals. Kate has trained in multiple techniques and is comfortable utilizing different treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
