James and Thomas Vellis established Omega Warehousing Distribution Inc in 1971. The corporation began with one location, at 859 Riverview, and in 1974 acquired a second location at 912 Riverview. Omega started as and still is a family owned and operated business. We take a tremendous amount of pride in our quality of service and commitment to our customers needs. The physical properties of our company consist of two block and steel buildings totaling over 120, 000 square feet of storage and office space. Both locations have brand new roofs and modern heating and ventilation systems. We incorporate a state of the art computerized warehouse management system with the finest material handling equipment and experienced professional employees to ensure utmost accuracy, safety and customer satisfaction. We are currently on line with several of our clientele and welcome any advances in communications they wish to instill. A central station monitored alarm and wet sprinkler system will keep products within our walls safe at all times. In 1998 Omega became active with the American Institute of Baking, or AIB. Since our inception we have had only Superior ratings, which, for our food and pharmaceutical customers, translates to an unprecedented level of security and functionality within the 3rd party logistics industry. This commitment to excellence is reflected throughout all of our services and we will continue to strive for only the best in every aspect of our business.
