The Heights of Tomball

My mother has been at the Heights of Tomball for over a year. She suffers from brain tumors, is deaf, blind in one eye, wheelchair bound and has cognitive impairment. My father had always taken care of her, spoiled her rotten. She had never lived in a facility and we picked The Heights of Tomball out together. My dad passed there of cancer, they did a wonderful job with him. My mother considers this place her home, and it is. I decorated her room. She loves the staff and they have a schedule that works. At first, this can be hard to understand, but it is best for the residents. Very structured. I can tell you my mother would have passed if not for the attentive staff. They know her nuances. Her sodium level dropped and they were right on it. I've walked in and observed...the nurses hugging her. She loves the attention. She has a fantastic Dr. and the nurses are terrific. I have nothing but good things and I thank God she is as happy as can be. Her life has been hard, so quality of life is what matters. They know that there because we have talked about it. I would do it all over again and I would never consider any other place for my mom than the Heights of Tomball. God Bless.
