My favorite place to get dancewear for my daughter!

This was an amazing store and it is clearly posted that if u do not buy shoes there then it is a 10.00 fee and also the reasoning for that is because u usually get sized and then go on like ebay and get the shoes but the store had better prices for new shoes then ebay or amazon does and if i owned a store i would not have a bath room for little drooling children to use lol and there is a new lady running it so she was amazin

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My 3 children and I went in to purchase dance shoes and apparel for the upcoming dance season. The clerk instead of welcoming us and offering to help stopped us at the door to inform me she would charge me $10 if I didn't buy shoes after she sized my children. I felt offended as I was planning on buying, not getting sized and leaving. I let it go, as I was planning on buying quite a bit of dance apparal anyhow. Unfortunately, the clerk did not know how to size shoes and either kept bringing the wrong sizes (wide when my daughter is a narrow, etc.) and they were out of the correct size of tap shoes. She wouldn't let my daughter try on both shoes at a time (even though I asked) to see if it was a correct fit, only one shoe, so it was hard to tell if it was a correct fit with my daughter hobbling around on one foot. The ballet shoes she sized for my daughter seemed a bit big, so I politely asked if we could get a second opinion from the other clerk who was standing only a few feet away, and she said NO WE COULDN'T. REALLY?! We had been there a while at this point and now my 3 year old and 7 year old had to use the restroom. I asked where the restroom was and the clerk told me that they had one but my daughters could not use it. she suggested we drive down the street to a bagel shop, use that restroom, then return and buy shoes from them. I was shocked and horrified. My three year old said "mommy I really have to go". I raced my kids to the car, and just made it down the street to a local shop where I was able to get my three year old to a toilet before she almost had an accident. I have never been treated so rudely and ignorantly in a retail setting, and I hate that my children were treated this way. It is incredibly upsetting. I do suggest ANY other dance store in the area, or Payless or Target, as they have some nice dance stuff.
