We had a reservation for the front part of the restaurant. When we arrived we had a long wait. I have a disability and standing is very difficult while we waited. When we finally got seated, I asked for grated cheese and olive oil. They didn’t have enough oil/cheese bottles, so we had to wait until some other people were finished using it! Finally, the waitress brought a small plate with grated cheese on a small plate with olive oil under it! I asked for hot tea, and it took a long time to get because they didn’t have a kettle/microwave to heat the water! It came already brewed (not knowing how strong I wanted it)! It wasn’t very hot either! When we asked for menus, we were told that they didn’t have many and that we had to wait until they became available! We had soup (no appetizers), no alcoholic beverages, and no desserts. The prices had gone up very much since the last time we were there! I realize food prices have gone up, but this was a big difference! When we were handed the bill, only then were we told that there was a 4% surcharge for using a credit card!! This should have been told to us when we made the reservation on the phone! Used to love eating here, but now I am not sure if we will come back! Very disappointed especially since it was a special occasion. #over priced#long wait time
