Pros: Quick in and out. Desk/welcoming staff friendly. Nice little location. Effective doctor.
Cons: Nurses were unfriendly, and rude.
Okay so I've had some good experiences and some bad...
I'm one of those guys who hates going to the hospital. My dad gave me that "Drink fluids. Eat. Sleep. and tough it out" mentality. But one time I was feeling awful, and each day it only seemed to get worse. Without a regular doctor we popped in this place once my sickness was impacting school and work. We had to fill out some quick paperwork, but the girls at the desks seemed relatively nice.
When I was called in... you know they have those nurses that weigh you and ask what's wrong before the doctor comes. Well a larger woman had the nerve to tell me that I was just fine, and didn't even look sick. A male nurse came in while she was getting my blood pressure and chuckled in agreement with her. If i recall correctly I believe their was even a joke as to whether or not I was "faking sick" infront of me as if I wasn't there. Hello, this isn't the second grade.
Once the doctor heard me out (he wasn't a smiley kinda guy, but he WAS patient and courteous) bloodwork was done. The nurse that drew my blood, filled about 6 tubes as I guess they wanted a plethora of my blood to run various tests. By the 4/5th tube I started getting nauseous and feeling a bit dizzy... I informed her and this nurse (the third one now) said "REALLY?!? Don't pass out on me!" In a loud, upset, and rude voice.
Low and behold the doctor found out I had Mono, and gave me the right prescriptions to feel a whole heck of a lot better, and I endured the next couple weeks of recovery thanks to him (but no thanks to those nurses). I really wish I remember this one girl's name...I went back for a final blood test to be sure I was over Mono. When I told her that I was prone to getting nauseous with blood being drawn...she took me away from the "blood drawing chair", and took me into their little emergency room. She pulled the sides of the rails up (haha, overkill, but I didn't complain), and even asked me what flavor juice I wanted. She was freakin' friendly as ever, and I never even noticed when she pierced my skin with the needle.
My advice? Their's some good staff there...but certainly not everyone lives up to the "Treat others as you yourself want to me treated..." So if someone gives you a nasty attitude, SPEAK UP, SPEAK YOUR MIND, and get someone else to help you.
