Leathernecks Bar & Grill

The owner is a Marine combat veteran and would have personally beat the cooks a$$ if he ever did such a thing. The "owner" who charged you anyways knows nothing of your little story. Leathernecks is a great place so take your negativity elsewhere. Kinda funny that this same review is on a different website given by a guy named Justin H. So who are you really? Quit hating and get a life loser.

I have eaten at leathernecks a few times and the wings are not too bad. The last time I ate there was a different story. I ordered my wings and when they were ready I noticed the bartender and the cook talking while the cook had my wings in his hand. He brought them to me and before I could take my first bite the bartender told me not to eat them. She told me that he had spit in them and she threw them away. She got the owner and he made me a new order of wings. As we were talking she told me that this was not the first time it had happened. Another customer chimed in and told me that the cook had been fired from his last job for spitting in food as well as dropping it on the floor and serving it. By the time I got my new set of wings I had decided not to eat them. The owner charged me for them anyways. Needless to say, I will not be back. There are plenty of other places in Thornville to eat. If you are planning on traveling to Thornville Ohio or the Buckeye Lake area be sure to avoid Leathernecks bar and grill at all costs.

This is a great place, it's owned and operated by a marine veteran. It's by far the cleanest bar around! Great wings on Thursdays! Thanks guys keep up the good work, my family will continue to come here!

Worst food on the lake. Service was poor as well, long waits and rude help. Spirits tast a tad watered down. If your looking for a good lake hangout, go to Woodys instead!
