The City of Thomasville Management Information Services Department provides information technology specialization and operational support that enables city staff, volunteers and elected officials to provide a variety of services. The department is a part of the City of Thomasville in North Carolina that operates cemetery, engineering, electric, fire, finance, cable television, customer service, police, recreation and recycling departments. The City of Thomasville operates a family resource center, schools, libraries and several civic organizations, such as the Thomasville Chamber of Commerce, Thomasville Jaycees and Thomasville Lions Club. The city also operates several medical centers and hospitals, as well as Thomasville Channel 13, which broadcasts community and youth events, such as The NC State 1-AA High School Football Champions and Thomasville Bulldogs.
